Nepali traditional music has its starting points in the Rig Veda. Later, the metrical droning of its psalms discovered its look in the tunes of Sama Veda. From that point forward traditional music has been a part of the Nepali music circle. The convention of playing traditional music has been passed on from era to era.
The established structure of a tune is known as Raga, and there are many Ragas either played on musical instruments or sung by and time. The 24 hour period is partitioned into 8 fragments of 3 hours each and each Raga is confined to a specific time allotment so as to deliver the craved impact. On occasion, some branches of these ragas made out of melodies are joined in
moves.
